District Bracket
Game Cancelled
Meadows Valley administration would like to cancel the games scheduled here on Wednesday against Salmon River at 5:15/6pm due to the closure of Salmon River schools. They will not be rescheduled.
School Cancelled Again!
January 29, 2018
Parents and Guardians,
The number of student absences at the beginning of the day today was 30% district wide. This is 5% higher than they were last Wednesday at 25% district wide. The number of absences at the Jr/Sr High was 22% and the number of absences at the Elementary was 39%. Due to the number of students out ill and the severity and length of the sicknesses we will NOT be having school the rest of the week (Tuesday through Thursday) to allow the students and staff to get well in hopes of breaking the cycle of re-infecting each other.
School will resume on Monday February 5th. All Jr. High and elementary school activities will be canceled for the week. High School basketball will not be canceled as long as the student athletes remain healthy.
Over the weekend the maintenance staff sprayed 20 gallons of disinfectant throughout the school district. They will continue to do additional disinfecting of the buildings during the flu season.
Thank you for your understanding and support during this time.
Sincerely,
Jim Doramus
School on Monday!
