Upcoming Events

Today the boys’ basketball teams will host Orofino. Games begin at 6:00 p.m.

The girls’ basketball team will play in the 1AD2 District 3 Girls District Basketball Tournament in New Meadows on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.

There will be a junior high Valentine’s Day dance on February 12th, 4:15-5:30 p.m. Cost is $1.00.  Concessions will be available.

28th Annual High School Art Exhibition at University of Idaho, February 19 – March 8.  Online submission deadline is February 8th. 1st prize is a $1,000 CAA scholarship. See Ms. Hale for more info

State Testing

This year ISAT test results and a detailed score guide will be mailed to you with your students report card from the school. More  information about your student’s test results can be found on the new Idaho Department of Education interactive parent website: link  score website or type http://testscoreguide.org/id/
Input your student’s score and learn more about that range, the claims, content and more.

Daily Bulletin

5/11/2017

Students – Please claim all lost and found items by 4:00 p.m. Thursday. Any remaining items will be taken to the Etc. store.

Locker rooms will be cleaned out daily! All personal belongings not in the lockers will need to be claimed by Thursday: otherwise, they will be put in the lost and found.

Tonight is the Spring Fling Art Show and Book Fair in the high school multi-purpose room. Dinner starts at 6:00 p.m. and entertainment at 7:00 p.m.

Tomorrow and Saturday the high school track team will be traveling to New Plymouth for the District track meet starting at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.  New bus leave time is at 10:00 a.m.

There will be a District 3 High School Rodeo Saturday May 13th and Sunday 14th.

Jordyn Pottenger and Emily Diaz invite you to come out, watch them, and over 60 contestants compete in Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc, Roping, Barrels, Poles, Goats! The Rodeo is free to watch! You cannot be inside the arena or warm up pen unless you are in full western attire  (Boots, Hat, Long sleeve button up, and jeans) It will disqualify the contestant. Bleachers/ parking lot are fine! There will be a dance downstairs at Salmon River Inn with DJ Scribbles for the Rodeo Kids on Saturday, May 13th from 7:30-11:30 p.m. All the JR High and High School Kids are invited, we ask that you be on your best behavior! Contact Tracie Pottenger for more info if needed.

 

 

The monthly School Board meeting is Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the IEN room at the high school.

 

May 16th is the Supplemental School Levy Election. This year’s levy was reduced by 3.7% from $545,000 to $525,000. Please help get the word out and encourage people to come out to vote.

May 17th is 5th grade Shadow Day at the junior high.

ASK will be taking a field trip to the Lewiston Civic Theatre to see “Little Mermaid” on May 21st. Cost is $7 per child and $14 per adult. Permission slips are in the office and must be returned by May 17th.

Parents – there will be NO charging lunches beginning May 23rd! Please put enough money in your child’s account to get them through the end of the school year. Any extra money left in the account will be carried over to next year.

Dr. Jeppe will be at the high school on Wednesday, May 24th at 6:00 p.m. to perform sport physicals. The cost will be $20 and Dr. Jeppe will donate part of that amount back to the athletic department.

ACT Test

Take the next ACT test on APRIL 8th

Transportation will be provided by SRHS for students taking the test in Grangeville

Deadline to register for the test is March 3rd
