Riggins Ambulance hosts many volunteer opportunities for students & the community, please reach out to them if you have any questions. Most recently, an SRHS senior received her EMT license while volunteering with Riggins Ambulance

Regional Alcohol & Drug Awareness Resources

The Idaho Regional Alcohol Drug Awareness Resource (RADAR) Center is a substance use disorders, prevention, treatment and recovery information clearinghouse.

Materials are provided free of charge to Idaho residents. The only cost that could be accrued is for return postage on the return of DVDs borrowed from the lending library.

The 2-1-1 Idaho CareLine is a free, statewide community information and referral service, and is a program of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. 

The 2-1-1 comprehensive database includes programs that offer free or low-cost health and human services or social services.

Idaho Medicaid, with the department of Health & Welfare has different programs that provide health coverage for the following:

  • Children under age 19

  • Parents or other related adults with children under age 19

  • Pregnant women

  • Women diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer or pre-cancer

  • People who are blind or disabled (using Social Security criteria)
